Role Overview:
In the transition to a software-first approach, the company is establishing the role of Senior Manager, NetZero Strategy & Sales Enablement. This position will support and shape the organization's understanding of industry-specific net-zero journeys, translating these insights into compelling value propositions that align with the company's product offerings. The role involves acting as a bridge between sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure the products address the net-zero priorities of various industry verticals. The manager will use their market knowledge and consulting experience to guide the sales enablement strategy, building on the company's global success and extensive portfolio of net-zero projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Net-Zero Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough research into the net-zero priorities of key industry verticals, providing insights on challenges like energy optimization, emissions reductions, and regulatory compliance.
- Industry-Specific Strategy Development: Create tailored playbooks that clearly articulate how the company's solutions address net-zero goals, considering each industry's technical complexities and regulatory standards.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with Sales to develop targeted enablement materials, strategic value propositions, and client-ready presentations, ensuring sales teams can effectively communicate net-zero value to clients.
- Partnership Development & Thought Leadership: Build relationships with industry bodies, regulatory agencies, and ecosystem partners to stay ahead of emerging trends and regulatory shifts. Represent the company at industry events, positioning it as a thought leader in net-zero initiatives.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Work with Product and Marketing teams to ensure industry-specific insights and client needs influence the product roadmap. Participate in feedback loops to align product features with the evolving net-zero landscape.
- Client Success Integration: Partner with Customer Success teams to track and analyze client outcomes, using case studies and success stories to create sales insights that support future business development.
- Regulatory Awareness & Compliance: Stay updated on key net-zero regulations and standards, guiding sales and product teams to ensure compliance with regional and global requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in sustainability, net-zero, or energy management are preferred.
- Industry Expertise: 5-7 years of experience in net-zero consulting, sustainability strategy, or business development within industries such as energy management, smart infrastructure, or renewable energy. A strong understanding of industry-specific net-zero journeys is required.
- Consulting Background: Experience in sustainability consulting or strategy development, ideally within top-tier firms. Ability to translate complex sustainability challenges into clear, business-ready strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Proven success in supporting sales teams with enablement materials, including product mapping, strategic playbooks, and tailored value propositions aligned with clients' sustainability goals.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to connect industry-specific net-zero strategies with product offerings, influencing key stakeholders and driving alignment across teams.
- Communication & Thought Leadership: Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging C-level executives and key industry players. Experience representing an organization in industry forums or regulatory panels is highly valued.
- Collaborative Mindset: Success in working across multiple teams, building consensus, and driving strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
