Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Landscape Architect - Department Lead to lead our Dallas office. This role involves overseeing project development, managing a talented team, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:
Department Leadership: Lead and manage the Dallas landscape architecture team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of diverse projects from concept to completion.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring project goals are met with exceptional service.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, lead proposal development, and represent the firm at industry events.
Design Excellence: Champion creative design solutions that align with client and community goals while maintaining high-quality project outcomes.
Team Development: Mentor and train staff, providing performance feedback and professional growth opportunities.
Technical Expertise: Ensure projects meet local and national regulatory standards, managing budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
Licensed Landscape Architect (PLA/RLA) required.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong business development skills and established client network in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS) and technical documentation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
