Job Title: Water Resources Senior Hydraulic Modeler

Job Description: The firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Resources Senior Hydraulic Modeler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development and application of hydraulic models to support water resources planning, flood risk management, and infrastructure design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and calibrate hydraulic models using HEC-RAS or similar for rivers, stormwater systems, and other water bodies.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support project planning and design.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate modeling results into project solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior modelers and engineers.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in hydraulic modeling.
Required Skills/Attributes:
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hydraulic modeling.
Desired Skills/Attributes:
- Registered Civil Engineer in California.
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in consulting, managing projects involving report production, evaluation of project alternatives, and design of water-related projects.
- Ability to manage projects and tasks and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and modeling to support water resource planning and decision-making.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience
