Position Overview: As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you be at the forefront of the geotechnical engineering division, contributing your expertise to a variety of projects ranging from infrastructure development to environmental remediation. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and geotechnical analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, proposals, and design recommendations.
- Conduct field inspections and assessments.
- Interface with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate best practices into project designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and tools.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
