Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing technical and design services to support electrical design projects, producing construction drawings and specifications while reporting into the Director of Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts on various projects, both large and small
- Manage design schedules and team members
- Collaborate directly with Architects and Owners
- Conduct preliminary evaluations and prepare reports
- Produce design documents (drawings and specifications)
- Travel for projects nationally and internationally
- Review designs to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering with PE Registration
- 10+ years of experience in Electrical Design (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies)
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Strong understanding of Building Codes, NFPA Codes, and Energy Codes
- Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare, or Aviation is a plus
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Software
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Must be a US Citizen with a valid driver's license
