Position: Senior Design-Build Estimator
Location: Tampa, FL
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus
About the Team:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
- Spearhead the preparation of bids for large-scale, design-build projects from start to finish.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Provide accurate and competitive bids to secure contracts.
- Monitor and update cost databases and estimation tools.
- Mentor and train junior estimators.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of estimating experience in the heavy civil industry.
- Proven track record of successful project bids.
- Demonstrated experience preparing bids for large-scale FDOT projects is required.
- Strong background with preparing bids for Design-Build projects is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, including HCSS, Agtek, etc.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
