We are looking for an experienced HVAC Controls Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure HVAC control systems, including sensors, actuators, and controllers.
- Diagnose and repair issues with building automation systems, including wiring, programming, and communication networks.
- Perform system upgrades and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
- Test, calibrate, and verify system functionality to meet project specifications and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Document service work, including repairs, system updates, and recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, technology advancements, and energy efficiency trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with HVAC control systems and building automation.
- Strong understanding of control programming, electrical wiring, and networking.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, BAS, or related fields) are preferred.
