They are seeking Senior to Principal Cultural Heritage (Archaeologists) in Byron Bay NSW. It is a permanent role.
Byron Bay is known for its natural beauty, made up of beaches and lush rainforests, alongside its vibrant culture and outdoor lifestyle. Although it offers a small-town atmosphere, you are still within proximity to major cities like Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Role & Responsibilities
- Leading and overseeing archaeological projects
- Ensure heritage assessments, excavations, and research are executed at the highest standards.
- Strong candidates will have profound technical expertise and a deep understanding of cultural heritage preservation.
- Manage diverse range of projects
- Mentorship of junior team members
- Liaise with clients and various stakeholders.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Archaeology
- Significant archaeological field experience, ideally in heritage consulting.
- Strong understanding of Australian heritage legislation and heritage practices.
