Our client, a leading provider of electronic security solutions, is seeking an experienced Security Technician to join their team in Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining state-of-the-art security systems that protect our clients' assets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Security Technician
- Proficient knowledge of Electronic Security Systems
- Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently or within teams
Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance:
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on installation projects involving CCTV cameras; Access Control units such as Card Readers / Biometric readers etc.; Intrusion Detection devices like motion detectors/door contacts/glass break sensors etc., Fire Alarm System Devices (Smoke Detectors/Horns/Strobes). They must also know how to configure these devices using software tools offered by manufacturers/vendors.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support remotely or onsite when required - this includes diagnosing faults/breakdowns/issues raised by end-users/customers.
Skills Required:
Electronic Expertise -
Hands on experience of installing Electronic Security systems such as Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Brivo, Honeywell, Ccure9000 & AMAG.
Certification -
Any certifications from vendors/manufacturers would add value but not mandatory e.g.- Genetec certification.
