Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Services team. This role will involve working on a variety of projects from start to finish, collaborating with other disciplines to provide comprehensive engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plumbing systems for various types of buildings, including commercial, educational, residential, and industrial.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers to create integrated designs.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Manage client relationships and project timelines.
- Utilize software such as Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu for design and documentation.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in plumbing design and relevant software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam Revu).
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within 1-2 months.
- Experience in plumbing design for commercial buildings.
