Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive engineering designs, including technical drawings, specifications, and master plans for physical security systems.
- Create and manage detailed budgets and construction cost estimates.
- Coordinate design requirements with cross-functional teams, such as architects and other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, etc.).
- Oversee construction phases, ensuring systems are installed and integrated according to design plans.
- Effectively manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and priorities.
- Provide clear communication and professional interaction with clients, executives, and technical teams.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of modern security technologies and systems.
- 10+ years' experience in designing security systems and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Expertise in developing construction documentation, including technical drawings and CSI-format specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical background.
- Eligibility for federal security clearance, including passing criminal history checks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on airport/aviation security systems.
- Certifications such as ASIS PSP or BICSI RCDD.
- Background in networking and IT systems.
- Licensed Professional Engineer credentials.
Travel Requirement:
- Anticipated regional travel up to 25%.
