One of my clients is actively looking for a Business Development/Investment Analyst to join their team!
The company headquarters in Japan that focuses on (1) Consulting and Advisory and (2) Project Development and Investment for Renewable Energy projects in Japan and South East Asia. As the business keeps expanding, they are seeking a new Business Development/Investment Analyst to support the overall operations in investment as well as consulting and advisory activities.
Employment: full time
Location: hybrid working environment, Tokyo, Japan. Fully remote working is open to discuss
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be engaged in consulting, advisory, business development, and investment in the renewable energy field, with a focus on Japan and Indonesia.
- Consultancy and advisory services:
- Prepare materials and presentations for Japanese and Indonesian clients
- Provide explanations and discuss conditions with local operators, and coordinate among related parties.
- Business development and investment:
- Identify renewable energy projects, conduct due diligence (in collaboration with technology consulting firms, law firms, accounting firms, etc.), and manage investments.
- Prepare application materials for public offerings conducted by Japanese government agencies and management after the adoption of the application.
- Provide various types of support (marketing, financing, etc.) for roof-mounted solar projects in Indonesia in which we have invested.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of working experience in the following roles: Relationship Manager, Business Development, Investment, or relevant responsibilities
- Relevant industry experience from Banking & Investment, Finance, or Renewable Energy would be highly preferred
- Fluent in English and Japanese communication
- Highly self-motivated and strong willing-to-learn mindset
