Company Summary: A leading IPP of Utility Scale PV + BESS projects is looking to grow their Asset Management Team. The IPP has projects across the US in 12+ states with 12,000MW of solar PV and 7,000MW of co-located and stand-alone energy storage projects! The team is looking to bring on a Reliability/Performance Engineer based in Houston, TX to support their operational projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance programs (preventive, corrective, predictive), assist in equipment risk assessment, and manage inventory standards.
- Develop technical procedures, commissioning standards, strategies, and decommissioning plans.
- Work with asset managers, operations, and senior management; establish communication channels; and report metrics and findings to stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for regulatory programs (FERC, NERC, RTO/ISOs)
- Complete failure predictive analysis
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or related
- 3+ years renewable energy experience
- Effective communication and analysis skills
- Experience using PVSyst
