Position Overview:
As the Regional Traffic Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing traffic engineering projects, managing client relationships, and driving business development initiatives in the region. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth and success of the transportation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead traffic engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, technical excellence, and client satisfaction.
Develop and manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for traffic services.
Oversee the preparation of traffic studies, signal designs, corridor analyses, and other transportation solutions.
Collaborate with regional and national leadership to drive business development and pursue strategic opportunities.
Mentor and develop a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and proposals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and innovative technologies to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.
8+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
Proven experience leading projects, managing clients, and developing new business.
Proficiency in traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, or similar).
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
