About the Role: A leading environmental consulting firm is seeking a mid-level project manager with expertise in waters of the United States. This full-time, in-office position involves primarily local travel within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 5 to 10 years of project management experience to join a dedicated and innovative team.

- Opportunity to mentor staff while being client-facing in your role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and leadership to a team of Biologist I and II positions.
- Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare proposals and permits.
- Limited field work to support teams, meet clients, conduct training, and work on technical projects.
Typical Projects:
- Waters of the United States, including wetlands delineations and Section 404, 10, and 408 permits.
- Protected species habitat/community assessments and Section 7 and 10 permits.
- Tree surveys/inventories and tree risk/health assessments.
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
- NEPA-related environmental documentation and technical writing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Rangeland Ecology, Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Wildlife, Fisheries, Environmental Studies, or a related field with significant field practicum.
- Proficiency in GPS equipment and ArcGIS is beneficial.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and basic construction tools.
Required Skills:
- Global positioning system (GPS) operations.
- ArcGIS software for map development.
- Microsoft Office proficiency across multiple applications.
- Basic construction tools (i.e., hammer, measuring tape, etc.).
Working Conditions:
- Ability to function in various outdoor conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, natural habitats with limited physical access, and long-distance hiking.
