Role Summary:
The Project Manager for Data Center Projects will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of data center projects. This position involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing complex technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage data center projects from inception to completion, ensuring project goals and client expectations are met.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout all project phases.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data center, misison critical or similar technical projects.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of data center design, construction, and operation principles.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience with budget management, scheduling, and risk assessment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
