Construction Project Manager - Connecticut

My client is a US leading construction firm specializing in large-scale commercial projects. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality construction services, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large ground-up commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, working for a General Contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Quality Control: Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large ground-up commercial construction projects for a General Contractor
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP, CCM, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
