Job Summary:
Our client, a leading general contractor, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Executive to lead a hyperscale data center construction project in Phoenix, AZ. This role is critical to the successful delivery of a high-profile project, requiring exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the hyperscale data center construction project, from inception to completion.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company goals.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, financial reporting, and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations for quality and safety.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to address potential issues.
- Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale data center projects.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
