We are looking for a Project Engineer to work for a top 10 ranked ENR mechanical contractor. Our client - a $2bn valued mechanical looking to grow to $6bn - is looking to expand their operations in the region and is looking for Project Engineers looking to begin their career in project management to help support their backlog of projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Support project managers and other staff in management of large scale mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing/process piping projects
- Manage change orders and ensure they are tracked and completed as required
- Handle procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors as required
- Learn about mechanical construction and project management with the goal of moving up to APM, and then eventually PM
Key requirements:
- Four-year degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field
- 3 years experience in mechanical construction minimum
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and process piping systems
- Ability to read and follow mechanical and plumbing plans
