Job Title: PLC/SCADA Engineer - Data center projects
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled PLC/SCADA Engineer to join our team, focusing on data center projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining PLC systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation of data center infrastructure. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for data center automation systems.
- Configure and program Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens for operator control and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for PLC programming projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct testing and validation of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams regarding PLC systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, including program logic, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of PLC systems, ensuring proper integration with other equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and automation systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
