Title: Medical Equipment Planner
Salary: $120k - $140k
Location: Remote with travel to project sites as required, based in California with access to San Francisco Bay Area
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive medical equipment plans for healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with client needs, budget, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct assessments of existing medical equipment and develop recommendations for upgrades or replacements
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and contractors to procure and install medical equipment according to project timelines and specifications
- Provide expertise on medical equipment standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the project life-cycle
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to communicate project progress and address any concerns or modifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare administration, or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in medical equipment planning, preferably with a consultancy AEC firm or healthcare system
- Proficiency in Attainia or similar planning software
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility design principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
