Company Overview
One of our long-term partners here at LVI are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager oversee a large Data Center project in the central OH area. Our partner is a large, full-service engineering & mechanical with offices across the US and primarily perform work in the mission critical and commercial sectors. Due to growth and being awarded repeat work from their clients, they're expanding their operations within the central OH region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical contracting projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee project team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Project Manager within Mechanical construction
- Experience managing data center projects to completion
- Experience working on projects over $25M in value - mechanical scopes
- Strong knowledge of different piping & HVAC systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, Associate's Degree as or a related field is preferred
