Position Overview: Work on diverse facilities engineering and design projects in sectors like education, public works, water/wastewater, transportation, transit, government, and aviation. Seeking candidates with experience in building mechanical and plumbing systems, including piping, HVAC, refrigeration, hydronic distribution, air-handling, central thermal plants, and fire protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver project objectives: scope, schedule, budget.
- Perform engineering calculations and assessments.
- Lead field investigations, HVAC load studies, energy modeling, and code reviews.
- Produce and ensure quality control for design documents.
- Supervise junior engineering staff and review their work.
- Coordinate designs with client specifications and code requirements.
- Address complex design and construction issues.
- Serve as project manager for various projects.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and manpower; prepare invoices.
- Develop project management plans, pricing, budgets, and schedules.
- Participate in client presentations and marketing efforts.
- Manage staff, including internal teams and external subconsultants.
- Develop extra work order requests and task proposals.
- Assist with marketing proposals.
- Provide leadership and performance management to team members.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 12+ years of experience in the field.
- Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
