Position: Lead Heavy Civil and/or Industrial Estimator
Location: Vancouver, WA
Salary: $140,000- $165,000 + Bonus(s) and ownership

Position Overview: As Lead Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a range of projects, including heavy civil and industrial. Your role will involve analyzing project requirements, developing cost models, and collaborating with project teams to ensure competitive and precise bidding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for heavy civil and/or industrial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare and maintain bid proposals, including cost breakdowns, risk assessments, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and clarify project details.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends, pricing, and best practices to ensure competitive and realistic estimates.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies during the project lifecycle.
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience as an estimator in heavy civil and/or industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Experience with cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating for heavy civil and/or industrial projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
