Position Overview: The Lead Commissioning Manager for Offshore Wind Farms will oversee all aspects of the commissioning process for offshore wind projects in Taiwan. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in renewable energy, particularly in offshore wind. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are commissioned on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commissioning team for offshore wind projects.
Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct inspections and tests to verify the proper installation and operation of equipment.
Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies during the commissioning process.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning reports and documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to the commissioning team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on offshore wind.
Proven track record of successfully leading commissioning teams for large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
