We have a current opportunity for a Investment Manager on a permanent basis.
Position Summary: The Investment Manager will play a critical role in evaluating and supporting investment opportunities in the solar energy sector. This position requires strong financial modeling skills and a deep understanding of renewable energy markets. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, assess project viability, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of solar projects, including cash flow analysis, sensitivity analysis, and valuation assessments.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on solar energy market trends, policies, and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions.
Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including project development, acquisitions, and partnerships, and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
Risk Assessment: Identify and analyze risks associated with investment opportunities, including regulatory, market, and operational risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to gather insights and ensure comprehensive project evaluations.
Reporting: Prepare and present investment proposals and performance reports to stakeholders, including management and investors.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations and policies impacting the solar industry in Taiwan and ensure compliance in all investment activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
Proven experience in financial modeling and investment analysis, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with solar energy markets, technologies, and regulatory frameworks in Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region is preferred.
