As part of this role, you will be tasked with:
- Assessing interconnection applications using top industry software tools such as PSS/E or CYME.
- Navigating complex tariffs related to different ISOs (Independent System Operators) and RTOs (Regional Transmission Organizations).
The ideal candidate should possess experience in:
- Transmission Planning: Developing strategies for integrating new generation sources into existing grids effectively.
- Distribution Planning: Ensuring reliable electricity supply by analyzing system demands and capacities.
Relevant skills include but are not limited to:
1. Interconnection: Understanding how various elements within electrical networks connect & interact.
2. PSS/E Software Proficiency: Using Power Systems Simulator/Engineering software suite for modeling, simulation, analysis tasks essential in our operations
3. CYME Expertise: Applying engineering analytics through CYME grid management solutions aids us greatly when designing robust energy delivery structures
