Position: Lead Building Automation Programmer
Location: Richmond, VA
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify and implement system improvements.
- Provide training and support to building operators and end-users.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or certification in a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
