Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Engineer in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in highway engineering. This role involves planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of highways and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design highway projects, including roadways, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in highway engineering.
