We are partnered with an established engineering firm who are currently seeking a geotechnical engineer to assist with their backlog of projects across New York and New Jersey . They been a key figure in geotechnical, environmental and material testing services for around 50 years and continuing their success - shown by their recent growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Investigation: Conduct detailed site investigations, including soil sampling, testing, and analysis.
- Geotechnical Design: Perform design and analysis for foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and other geotechnical structures.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare clear and detailed geotechnical reports and documentation.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing expert advice and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of geotechnical projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and budgetary standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's required and Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools.
- Certifications: PE license
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
