Forensic Electrical Engineer Position in New Jersey

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to different site inspections around the NJ/NY
- Liaise with other parties and collect evidence
- Investigate electrical failures, accidents, and incidents caused by electrical issues
- Showcase a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Analyse complex electrical systems
- Communicate findings effectively
- Apply strong design background knowledge towards finding root cause failures
- Collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
- Get the chance to do court testimonies on key finding on fire incidents
Essential Skills Required:
- PE (professional licence) preferrable in New Jersey
- Knowledge of current safety protocols within the Engineering field
- Familiarity with design background electrical systems that operate at low/high voltages
- Has done site inspection on electrical failures in commercial or residential or multifamily
Preferred candidate:
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Investigator/Engineer with fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need to be prepared to travel to cites in New Jersey and sometimes New York You will need to have experience in investigating electrical failures, accidents and incidents caused by electrical failures and issues. A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar will be required.
