Job Title: Forensic Accountant

Company Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a respected client, a leading firm in forensic accounting who are seeking a skilled and motivated Forensic Accountant to join their Toronto office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into financial discrepancies, fraud, and other irregularities.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support legal proceedings and dispute resolutions.
- Provide expert services in insurance claims, business interruption, and cryptocurrency-related investigations.
- Prepare detailed forensic accounting reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal teams, law enforcement, and other professionals to support investigations.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in forensic accounting techniques.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in forensic accounting, with a focus on investigations, insurance claims, and business interruption.
- Experience with cryptocurrency investigations is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of forensic accounting methodologies and financial analysis.
