Job Summary:
The Energy Storage Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of energy storage systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and maintain energy storage systems at customer sites.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of energy storage equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Provide technical support and training to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performance and reliability.
- Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in the energy storage, renewable energy, semi-conductor sector.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems, including batteries, inverters, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in various field conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
