Company Summary: A multidisciplinary engineering firm is looking to grow their Energy Team with an Renewable Electrical Engineer! Their team focuses on Utility Scale PV, BESS, and Wind, and is looking for an experienced electrical engineer to support the design and implementation of these projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design AC/DC single-line diagrams, conduit layouts, and cable routing for Utility Scale Renewable projects
- Model and optimize electrical systems
- Ensure proper integration of battery enclosures and power conversion stations
- Perform electrical studies: load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, voltage drop assessment, etc.
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related
- 3+ years in electrical design for utility scale projects
- Proficiency in PVSyst, PVCase, ETAP, etc for electrical analysis and modeling
- Experience working with EPC contractors and developers
