Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer | Healthcare
Location: Long Beach or Irvine, California (Hybrid)
Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 annually
About the Role:
My client, an award-winning engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities, including hospitals and medical office buildings, as well as support buildings such as central plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design projects and a team of design engineers.
- Perform field surveys, prepare site assessment reports, and design electrical systems.
- Design power single line and riser diagrams, perform electrical calculations, and select lighting fixtures and power equipment.
- Coordinate the lighting control system and design fire alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with California Electrical Code and Energy Standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project phases.
- Provide mentorship to design engineers and prepare proposals for clients.
- Demonstrate active development of business with new and existing clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit.
- Familiarity with HCAI requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
