Electrical Engineer - Pittsburgh, PA

Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to electrical design, including engineering calculations, equipment selection, power distribution, lighting, and security systems. Under the direction of a Professional Engineer, you will perform design-related tasks and have the opportunity to grow into broader aspects of Electrical Engineering while working toward a PE license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems using AutoCAD/Revit software.
- Conduct lighting, power, and signal calculations.
- Design and document lighting, power, security, and telecom systems.
- Assist with power studies, such as Arc Flash studies, using SKM Power Tools.
- Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Engage with clients, vendors, and contractors on a limited basis.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical/Lighting concentration.
- FE/EIT certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Occasional travel required.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
