Electrical Engineer - Conneaut, OH

Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will handle a variety of tasks related to electrical design, including engineering calculations, equipment selection, and the design of power distribution, lighting, and security systems. Working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, you'll contribute to projects while gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to grow into broader responsibilities and work toward earning a PE license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.
- Perform lighting, power, and signal calculations.
- Develop and document designs for lighting, power, security, and telecom systems.
- Assist with power studies, including Arc Flash studies, using SKM Power Tools.
- Conduct site visits to survey existing conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Engage with clients, vendors, and contractors on a limited basis.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical/Lighting concentration.
- FE/EIT certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent client service.
- Occasional travel required.
- Capability to work independently and in team environments.
