**Mid-Level Drainage Engineer Opportunity in Fairfax, Virginia**
Seeking an experienced Mid-Level Drainage Engineer to join a nationally recognized firm that is consistently awarded for their designs projects and partnerships. This position will be responsible for hydraulics efforts on transportation projects in Virginia. The majority of projects are with state DOT's and they have work share capabilities across all their offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic studies
- Design efficient drainage systems that adhere to environmental regulations.
- Develop robust stormwater management strategies tailored for various projects.
- Implement effective erosion and sediment control measures as per project needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- PE or ability to obtain in 6 months
- Experience with H/H design software including HY-8, NRCS (TR-55/TR-20); HydroCAD, StreamStats, HEC-RAS, Pondpack et. al preferred
- Hands-on experience with MicroStation
