Job Summary: The Design Management Manager acts as a crucial intermediary between the design team, clients, and project stakeholders. This role involves coordinating design activities, ensuring they align with project goals, and maintaining effective communication to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and implementation of design requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and design workshops, document decisions, and track action items.
- Monitor design schedules and milestones to ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
- Track design progress and provide updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Manage and organize design documentation, ensuring it meets project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the submission of design packages for client approvals and permitting processes.
- Review design deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide feedback to design teams to address inconsistencies or areas for improvement.
- Identify and address potential design issues early to minimize project delays.
- Support problem-solving initiatives related to architectural design challenges.
- Foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and incorporating feedback into design solutions.
- Perform other duties as required by Directors, Team Leaders, Project, or Construction Managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, MEP, Project Management, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of experience in architectural design coordination or project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry design processes and technical standards.
- Proficiency in design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management software.
- Must be 40 years old or older.
- Experience in the construction industry in Thailand.
- Must be an excellent communicator in English, whether an expat or Thai national.
