We are seeking a Construction Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead and manage water treatment projects in the Baltimore area. This role is ideal for a licensed engineer with strong leadership skills and a passion for complex water and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee planning, execution, and completion of water treatment facility construction projects.
- Technical Oversight: Apply engineering expertise to ensure projects meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and design standards.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and field teams to maintain project efficiency and quality.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address technical or logistical challenges, developing solutions that maintain project goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
Qualifications
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
- Proven experience in managing construction projects for water treatment or similar infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
