Job Description: As the Environmental Compliance Team Lead, you will oversee and manage the water quality and stormwater compliance programs. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure our operations comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations related to water quality and stormwater management. Your role will involve developing and implementing policies, conducting audits, and providing guidance on compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the environmental compliance team with a focus on water quality and stormwater management.
- Develop and implement compliance programs for water quality and stormwater, including monitoring, reporting, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Analyze and interpret water quality and stormwater regulations to provide guidance to the organization.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on water quality and stormwater investigations and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate water quality and stormwater compliance into overall business operations.
- Provide training and support to staff on water quality and stormwater compliance issues.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and represent the company in water quality and stormwater compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in water quality and stormwater compliance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local water quality and stormwater regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
