The Opportunity:
- This opportunity is for someone who wants to grow in a faced paced company and build long term relationships. They require a leader to take over and manage clients in a way that effectively promotes the business. The project manager's responsibilities will range from overseeing projects and managing clients to coaching and supervising team members. Principals and Project Associates will typically collaborate with the project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Examine the materials that are at your disposal, such as previous engineering reports, building plans, contractor estimates and service reports, monthly and annual financial records, etc.
- Arrange and get ready for site visits.
- Complete site evaluations
- Speak with and conduct interviews with service providers (mechanical, fire safety, lift, electrical, etc.).Write reports on depreciation, building condition assessments, and property condition assessments:
-The state, the scope, the opinion of expenses (quantity take-offs and budgeting), the timing of repairs, and the funding scenarios (for reserve fund studies and depreciation reports only) are all important considerations.
Education Requirements:
- 10+ PCA experience, building system and structure reviews
- Good knowledge of ASTM E2018 Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments
- Familiar with requirements of Condominium Act, 1998 for Reserve Fund Studies and Performance Audits
- Bachelor of Engineering desired
- Pursuing/obtained P.Eng
- Knowledge of building codes an asset
