We are seeking a Bridge Principal to join our team and play a key leadership role in growing and managing our bridge design practice. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-profile projects, mentor a talented team of engineers, and develop client relationships while contributing to the advancement of infrastructure in the Cleveland area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex bridge design and rehabilitation projects from conception to completion.
- Provide strategic direction for the bridge practice, including business development and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with public agencies, private entities, and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure quality and profitability.
- Collaborate with other disciplines within the firm to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in bridge design, project management, and leadership.
- Expertise in structural analysis software and bridge design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of ODOT standards, policies, and procedures.
- Proven experience in business development and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
