Assistant Project Development Manager - Renewable Energy Sector

In this role, you will support the development and growth of a robust portfolio of renewable energy generation assets while contributing to a mission focused on decarbonizing electricity supply without compromising affordability, reliability, or resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal and external resources across engineering, finance, legal, and environmental teams to ensure project success.
- Assist in developing renewable energy projects from inception to financial close/start of construction.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive business environment, including regulatory and environmental legislation.
- Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate on siting and permitting utility-scale solar and/or wind generation facilities.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in renewable energy project development, with a track record of success in siting and permitting utility-scale solar or wind facilities.
- Knowledge of interconnection and permitting processes; experience with CAISO interconnection and CEQA permitting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering teamwork across diverse disciplines.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Location Requirements:
- The position requires onsite presence in St. Louis, MO.
- Travel to project sites will be required as needed.
