Position Overview:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of the Water Treatment Plant construction project. You will ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will manage a team of professionals and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction of the Water Treatment Plant from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and identifying any potential delays or risks.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the proper execution of project plans.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and resolution of concerns.
- Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and safety compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to water treatment, construction, and environmental standards.
- Manage and mentor project team members, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in large-scale water treatment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and water treatment plant operations.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Experience in coordinating with governmental agencies and navigating regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
