Transportation Area Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage transportation projects, including roadway, highway, and infrastructure design.
- Develop and implement strategic growth plans for the transportation market in Utah.
- Lead project delivery from concept through final design, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule targets are met.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with UDOT and local municipalities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's transportation presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop transportation engineering staff to support project and team growth.
- Provide technical guidance and review for project deliverables, including PS&E (plans, specifications, and estimates).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 10 years of transportation engineering experience, including project and team management.
- Strong existing relationships with UDOT and local cities/municipalities.
- Proven experience in business development and client engagement.
- Strong understanding of state and municipal transportation standards and guidelines.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
