SoCal | Hydrogeologist
Our client is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join their team in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrogeology, hydrogeological analyses, and environmental science, with extensive experience in project management and leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing field investigations, analyzing data, developing strategies for groundwater management and contamination remediation, and leading multidisciplinary teams on complex environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hydrogeological field investigations and surveys.
- Analyze and interpret complex groundwater data.
- Develop and implement advanced groundwater models.
- Prepare and review technical reports and presentations.
- Manage and mentor junior staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale environmental projects.
- Provide expert advice on groundwater management and contamination remediation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Represent the company in client meetings and industry conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in hydrogeology or related field.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Proficiency in groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, GMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
