Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Civil Project Manager to lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in land development, site design, and municipal infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee site civil projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments.
Lead project teams in preparing site development plans, grading, drainage, utility layouts, and permitting documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with local municipalities, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain project approvals.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Conduct site visits, evaluate project progress, and address any challenges that arise.
Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and construction documents.
Assist with business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
5+ years of experience in civil site design, land development, or municipal engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Stormwater Modeling Software, and other civil engineering tools.
Strong knowledge of local zoning regulations, permitting processes, and stormwater management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Experience working with private developers, municipalities, and public agencies is a plus.
