Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a proven background in designing robust, reliable electrical systems for mission-critical facilities. The ideal candidate has experience working with generators, UPS systems, PDUs, switchgear, transformers, and understands the redundancy strategies that are essential to data center performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design comprehensive electrical systems for data centers and critical infrastructure projects, ensuring N+1 and 2N redundancy where required
Lead and collaborate on project documentation using AutoCAD and, preferably, Revit
Develop specifications and layouts for electrical distribution systems, including coordination with mechanical and structural teams
Act as a subject matter expert for electrical infrastructure design, making independent design decisions
Create test plans and support the commissioning and turnover of systems to clients
Stay engaged throughout the project lifecycle, offering input from concept through construction
Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on mission-critical/data center environments
Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a strong plus
Solid understanding of electrical infrastructure components: generators, UPS, switchgear, PDUs, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required); PE license preferred
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Additional Information
Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel to project sites as needed
