Senior Bridge Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join their growing team in Lakewood. This role involves leading the structural design and analysis of highway and transportation-related bridges, managing multidisciplinary project teams, and collaborating closely with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates are technically strong, detail-oriented, and motivated to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects across Colorado.
Responsibilities
Lead bridge design projects from concept through construction
Oversee structural analysis, plan development, and technical documentation
Manage scope, schedule, and budgets for bridge projects
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (CDOT, local agencies, etc.)
Mentor junior engineers and assist in QA/QC reviews
Support proposals and client presentations as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
PE license required (Colorado preferred or ability to obtain)
10+ years of bridge/transportation structure design experience
Proficiency with structural software (e.g., Midas, SAP2000, BrR/BrD, CSiBridge)
Familiar with AASHTO LRFD and CDOT standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing DOT or municipal bridge projects
Familiarity with MicroStation, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
Strong leadership and client-facing experience
